The Bulgarian Government approved Thursday BGN 13,962 M budget for the European Parliament Elections which will be held June 7 2009.

Over BGN 4 M will be spent for wages of the members of the election commissions, the government's press office announced. Another BGN 3 M will be given to the Interior Ministry for the guarding during the elections day.

BGN 2,94 M will be spent on technical preparations. The rest of the budget will cover the spending on printing of the elections list, and for organizing the elections for Bulgarians living abroad.
