Premeditated mistakes are committed in Sofia's cadastre map in order to illegally pay more money to certain individuals.
The information was revealed Friday by Sofia's Chief Architect, Petar Dikov, during the conference dedicated to the real estate market in the country.
Dikov defined the city's cadastre as "unique disgrace", adding that the most violations were committed regarding the dimensions of the parking garages.
"Often the dimensions indicated are such that they would allow only a baby stroller to be parked inside," Dikov said.
The Chief Architect explained that the new, updated cadastre of Sofia would be completed four years from now, adding possible issues could create major problems and obstacles such as a building belonging to one owner being partially located in somebody else's property.
