The number of Bulgarians, who asked for emigrant`s status in Norway in the last 5 weeks, become 400, after 169 people did it on Saturday. Most of the refugees are from the region of Rousse town and have gipsy or Turkish origin. One of them was arrested and accused for people traffic. If sentenced, he will be imposed 2-3 years prison penalty. Since the war in Bosnia, the largest number of emigrants in Norway is of Bulgarians. At a special meeting between Oslo police and the Emigration department of the government on Friday a decision was made that the procedure for Bulgarian emigrants should be shorter and they should be sent back. For the time being, they have been accommodated in 4 different refugee centers near Oslo. They will be given free food and home and DEM 250 per month–in the case that they stay for so long.
