A Croatian national was killed and five more people were injured in a heavy crash in Sofia on Sunday morning.

The traffic accident was caused by an overspeeding BMW, which hurled itself into the opposite lane of boulevard "Brussels" and landed on a KIA.

The driver of the KIA, a 38-year-old Croatian national, died upon impact.

Police says the 20-year-old driver that caused the crash was driving at more than 200 kilometers per hour.
