2.03 kg of cocaine has been seized in a joint operation conducted by customs officers of the Drug Control Sector of the Sofia Airport Customs and of the National Service for Organized
Crime Control. The narcotic is of high purity and its price is about BGN 600.000. The customs officers found the cocaine in the false bottom of the knapsack carried by G.G., 39, a citizen of Austria of Bulgarian origin. He arrived in Sofia from Aruba Island through Frankfurt. This is the fourth attempt of smuggling cocaine since the beginning of the year. Adding the new amount found, the cocaine seized by the Bulgarian customs officers totals 9.054 kg.
