The Minister for Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan has officially welcomed the new Bulgarian Ambassador.
Vasil Kalinov, the new Bulgarian Ambassador to the oil rich Central Asian country was received by Azerbaijani Foreign Affairs Minister, Elmar Mamadyarov.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan informed that in the meeting between Mamadyarov and Kalinov the Bulgarian said that for the period of his work in the country he was going to promote further development and expansion of the two countries' relationships.
In his turn, Mammadyarov pointed out that ties between both states are already at a high level, the Ministry added.
The sides discussed late Friday bipartite links and a range of issues of interest.
