I have enjoyed living in bulgaria for the past number of years !
I have tried to (I think with success) to assimilate the customs traditions and cuisine of bulgaria here in
Burgas !

Just recently I seem in my "naievty" become a victim of a sick scam involving extortion/blackmail !

A former buisness partner/ property agent has passed/sold a document to local "mafia" organisation
claiming it was not paid !

This is not true !

The amount relates to an amount of 1500 euros which is not the truth (relates to a transaction from 3yrs ago ) I do not owe any money to this person and have never recieved any monies from same or in the past three years recieved any demands for same !

I am now told I owe not only this money but now 15000 euros by some local mafia or my life/safety is
at risk !

This has been communicated to me by intermediaries !

I now live in fear that some stranger who I owe nothing will attack me in respect of this trumped up charge supported by fraudent documentation !

I attempted to contact my former agent by phone only to be told he was going to Turkey !

I have names dates and details of all involved on your request !

I will speak with police to-morrow !

I am told these people "dont care" about police !

I am very disappointed and scared by these recent developments !

I request that you highlight this problem and any other similar extortion scams outhere !

I really like to live in Bulgaria !
I have many friends !
I wish only good for Bulgaria !

I have not encountered a problem like this in Bulgaria until now !
