The British Cable & Wireless /C&W/ will extend GBP 15 000 for the archaeological excavations near Veliko Tarnovo, conducted by English
archaeologists, under its Public Investments program. In the last two years the site was financed by Mobikom, in which C&W holds a 40% share. Co-financing is provided by the British Academy of Sciences. The project is expected to be completed in 2003.
