Bulgaria's "Personalities in the News" for 2011 – who were selected by you, our readers from around the world – have received their awards at a special ceremony in Sofia.

Three of the four winners of the "Personality in the News" title for 2011 – Mrs. Meglena Kuneva, Mr. Vasko Raychev, and Mr. Andreas Maierhofer were handed their prizes by the team of Novinite.com (Sofia News Agency) and Novinite.bg at the Sofia Sheraton Hotel Balkan on Tuesday in the presence of diplomats, journalists, friends, and partners of the largest Bulgarian English-language media and its Bulgarian-language service.
