Violent protests in Greece entered a 10th day with youths attacking Athens's main police station with petrol bombs.

Police used tear gas to disperse protesters, who started the riots over the deadly police shooting of 15-year-old Alexis Grigoropoulos.

The shooting of the boy was the catalyst for the violence, but it comes along with plummeting popularity of the centre-right government, accused of failing to cope with harsh social problems.

The unrest in Greece has already caused millions of dollars in damage, as dozens of banks, shops, and offices were destroyed by anarchist protesters.
