Sofia Appellate Court left behind bars on Tuesday the two youngsters, who have been arrested over the brutal murder of the pharmacy student Stoyan Baltov ten days ago.

Vili Georgiev, 20, and Alexander Danailov are accused of causing their coeval's death by beating him up in an accident that occurred on December 5 in front of a night club in Sofia's Studentski Grad (Students' Town) quarter.

Both suspects were detained a day after the murder along with three other students, who were almost immediately released.

On December 9, Sofia City Court freed Danailov on BGN 500 bail. Later, the medical expertise showed there were signs of his soles on the victim's body and he was put behind bars again.

Stoyan Baltov was beaten to death by a group of drunk boys, who attacked him and a friend of his without warning and for no apparent reason.
