British Prime Minister Gordon Brown arrived in Pakistan on Sunday for a meeting with Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari, aimed at easing tensions between India and Pakistan in the wake of the Mumbai terror attacks.
Before arriving in Pakistan Mr Brown visited India where said he had no doubts that the banned Pakistan-based militant outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) is connected to the terror attacks.
"We also know there have been arrests in Pakistan," Brown said as cited by CNN. "We also know that the group responsible is LeT."
Relations Between India and Pakistan have rapidly deteriorated amid evidence that the militants who targeted 10 sites in Mumbai last month were trained in Pakistan.
The Mumbai attacks at the end of November left 180 people dead, and more than 300 wounded.
