A Bulgarian official delegation, lead by the Bulgarian President Georgi Parvanov left on Sunday for Argentina and Mexico, the President press center reported.
The delegation will remain in Latin America until November 15.
The Economy Ministry press center informs that the Bulgarian Energy and Economy Minister Petar Dimitrov is also going to be part of the delegation.
Bulgaria's joining of the European Union has been seen as a premise for the expansion and the intensification of business relations between Bulgaria and Latin American countries. An agreement for business collaboration between Bulgaria and Argentina is going to be signed during the visit.
The Bulgarian Economy Minister is also going to participate in an international conference titled "Bio-fuels as a leading force of stable development." The conference will take place in Sao Paolo, Brazil between November 17 and 21.
In the first seven months of 2008, Bulgaria's export to Brazil has been estimated at USD 50,436 M, which is a 65% increase compared with the same period of 2007.
