The US player of the Lukoil Neftohimik Women's Basketball Team Dionne Brown started a fight in front of a disco in the downtown of Bulgaria's Black Sea city of Burgas Saturday night.

After a scandal between Brown and the security guards of the disco, the Lukoil's top player slapped one of the guards in the face.

The incident was noticed by a nearby police patrol. They tried to talk to the 25-year-old American, who was clearly drunk, but she assailed them hitting one of the police officers.

After the police arrested Brown, and took testimonies from the witnesses, they transferred her to the coach of Lukoil Neftohimik Dionisiy Gugushev.

The US basketball player will have to appear before an investigator in the First Police Directorate in Burgas on Monday to testify about her actions.

The incident happened only five days after Dionne Brown was declared MVP of the fourth round of the Bulgarian Women's Basketball League.
