Bio Bulgaria opened Sunday a new dairy plant for production of high-grade organic yoghurt in the village of Malo Buchino near Sofia.
The Harmonica dairy is to produce the popular Bio yoghurt brand, which is claimed to be the first and only certified organic yoghurt in the country.
Bio Bulgaria Ltd is a company set up by Bulgaria's former Top 5 tennis player Magdalena Maleeva. The company was established in 2006 and appeared on the market with its yogurt but since then it has been steadily expanding its range of organic products, now producing organic vegetables, bread, cheese, eggs and others.
