A new, modern center for laser therapy, dermatological and plastic surgery was inaugurated Wednesday at the Sofia Military Medical Academy.
The center is under the management of the "Dermatology and Allergy" department of the Academy. The construction works have taken BGN 960,000 while the cost of the new equipment is estimated at BGN 1,5 M.
The center also has two new surgical rooms for plastic surgery each costing BGN 1 M. According to the Head of the Military Medical Academy, Stoyan Tonev, the new surgery rooms have unique for Europe electrical and water installations, allowing to immediately deal with damages and system failures by showing their exact location.
