Bulgaria's Health Ministry is purchasing 100 brand-new ambulances for the emergency clinics all over the country.

The purchase will cost the Ministry about BGN 10 M, which will be financed with a loan from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development.

Bulgaria's Health Minister Evgeniy Zhelev will hand out the keys of the first thirty ambulances next week, and the remaining seventy medical cars are expected by October 15.

The new ambulances are equipped in accordance with EU's standards and with the specific directives of the European Commission.
