The Sofia Stock Exchange continued its crash on Tuesday with the blue chips index falling below 900, a 4,9% decrease, which is the lowest index level since July 12, 2006.

The session closed at 885,42 points for the SOFIX index.

The BG40 went down to 213,49 points or by 6,8%, which is a 21-month low. BGTR30 fell by 4,11% to 583,51 points. BGREIT registered the lowest decrease - by 0,02% down to 83,41 points.

The Tuesday trade has been registered at BGN 6,044 M with the conclusion of 2,243 deals, darikfinance.bg reported.

The negative trend is attributed by experts to the panic on the world markets and the continuous withdrawal of investors along with low liquidity and back buying by investment schemes.
