Bulgaria Customers to Pay Same Fees to Reconnect Electric Power Supply

Business | August 26, 2008, Tuesday // 00:00

Customers of the three companies providing electricity in Bulgaria would now pay the same fees to have their electric power supply reconnected, according to Konstantin Shoushoulov, Chair of the State Commission for Energy and Water Regulation.

Until now, the fee amounts have been different for the three different companies. Those fees are due from the customers when their electric power has been turned off due to unpaid bills and has to be connected for the second time after they pay the overdue amounts.

The new fees would not include a penalty amount either, only the expense amount.

Shoushoulov further explained that changes in the way consumers pay their water bills were also forthcoming.
