A total of 160 kilos of cannabis have been found Thursday in a field in Bulgaria's village of Skrat at a joint raid of Blagoevgrad and Petrich police authorities.

The officers have not revealed yet the identities of the criminals, who grew and stored the drug plant.

A week ago, more than 150 kilos of marijuana have been seized from the houses of several elderly people, living in the same village.

The owners however were detained for only 24 hours in the local police station and then released.
