Bulgaria In Vitro Program Gets BGN 100 M-Boost from Budget Surplus

In her words, a working group of the Ministry of Health was going to gather Wednesday to develop a plan for supporting the in vitro fertilizations.
Parvanova expects to see the results of the boost in 2009. She pointed out the In Vitro Program should be supported by the state budget each year, and recommended that the state funded at least three attempts at in vitro fertilization.
Parvanova announced the financial injection for Bulgaria's underfunded in vitro program amidst a number of events organized by the "I Want a Baby" Foundation for the 30th birthday of Louise Joy Brown, the world's first baby conceived by in vitro fertilization, who arrived to Sofia on Sunday with her family.
