Bulgaria Socialists Present New Membership Card

The new Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) membership card is presented Friday at a meeting of the Party's Supreme Council.

For the first time the card will be electronic and will have a chip with personal information about the member as well as his or her professional and party experience.

The first membership cards will be presented personally by the BSP leader and Bulgarian prime minister Sergey Stanishev at the Party's convention on the Buzludzha peak where the 100-years old Party is going to discuss its policy regarding young people and the elderly.
