The Bulgarian cigarette-maker monopoly Bulgartabac sold Monday on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange 78,18% of its factory in the southern city of Stara Zagora.

The 920 854 shares from the capital of "Sluntse (Sun) - Stara Zagora - Tabac" were sold for a total of BGN 18 186 866,5, which makes BGN 19,75 per share, Bulgartabac Holding announced.

However, the name of the new majority owner has not been announced yet.

The shares were sold in two packages - minority package of 1,77% (20 854 shares), and a majority package of 76,41% (900 000 shares).

The majority package was purchased by one buyer, whereas the minority package was sold in two parts.

The minimum price was BGN 18,90 per share (BGN 17 404 140,60 in total), which means that the final price was BGN 782 725,90 greater.

The Sluntse Stara Zagora factory owns a license for the processing of tobacco, and the production of tobacco products.
