Bulgaria Sea Resort Opens Ice Skating Rink

Bulgarian Sea Resort "Albena" now has a brand new ice skating ring, just meters away form the sea.

The rink is located in front of the "Laguna Beach" hotel over on area of 300 square meters. The rink is an indoor one and its dimensions are 15 X 20 meters.

The idea for an ice skating rink was first mentioned two years ago when the Resort's Management announced their investment plan. At the time they explained that the rink was to be built with the goal of attracting tourists to the resort during the winter as well.

The rink is going to be officially opened Saturday when "Albena" expects the arrival of the internationally renowned Russian ballet "Todes".

The rink has been already used for training sessions of Russian children practicing figure skating.
