Alan D. Levy - Chairman of Tishman International Companies based in Los Angeles, officially inaugurated Tuesday the long-awaited One Stop Shop, located in the Iskar Municipality.
The ceremony's participants included Sofia's Mayor Boyko Borisov, US Ambassador John Beyrle, both coordinators of the project, Iordan Tomov, Mayor of the Iskar Municipality and other officials as well as media representatives.
Tihman International Companies Рё GE Real Estate as partners in the construction of Sofia Airport Center (SAC), provided the necessary funds for computers, software and server for the new One Stop Shop.
The One Stop Shop will provide the public with documents and services via the centralized computer system and contemporary software developed by the Technology University in Sofia. The new system is expected to save the citizens of the Iskar Municipality lots of time since it would eliminate the need to visit numerous local offices for each single document.
The new One Stop Shop would allow the public to be serviced and to receive all the necessary documentation by paying predetermined fees. Administrative services include all kinds of documents - public registry and references, local taxes and payments, ownership certificates, birth certificates, farming, environmental, trade, tourism and transportation services.
