Bulgaria made a proposal to the "Daimler" Concern to manufacture in Bulgaria spare parts for all types of Mercedes automobiles - from military to cargo ones. The offer was made by the Bulgarian Foreign Minister Ivaylo Kalfin during his visit at the Daimler plant in Sindelfingen Friday.

Earlier Kalfin had a meeting with the PM of the German Province Baden-WГјrttemberg, GГјnter Oetinger. Oetinger had made the commitment to support and help the realization of the Daimler project in Bulgaria. The idea launched by Kalfin is connected to the third program from the offset deal for the supply of military technology with Daimler.

According to Kalfin, the Daimler concern is giving serious considerations to the possibility of investing in permanent production in Bulgaria.

During the meeting Kalfin has also discussed with Oetinger the possibility for exchange of students to be trained as engineering specialists to work at the Daimler plants.

The Bulgarian Foreign Minister gave a high mark of his meeting with represnetives of medium-sized businesses from Baden-WГјrttemberg, adding that the medium-sized business from the Province was "big' for Bulgaria.

Kalfin's visit at the Daimler plant was the conclusion of his trip to Germany.
