Like NASA specialists, the Premier too was impressed by the project of a cosmic colony named Tangra, created by the students under the direction of astronomer Mrs. Veselka Radeva, who is a lecturer in National Astronomical Observatory and Planetarium "Nikolai Kopernik."
The students and their tutor have already received an invitation of attending the national conference of the US Space Agency, which will take place in Washington at the end of May.
The Tangra Project envisages a space settlement for 10,000 inhabitants and features unique designs and innovative solutions for the construction of the colony.
