The dead body of a 26-year-old prostitute was found by her colleagues on a bench in Bulgaria's second largest city of Plovdiv on Friday.

The clothes of Emiliya Sapunkova were torn, which made the police launching an investigation on possible murder.

The autopsy, however, proved that the woman died of renal insufficiency.

Sapunkova had recently complained of having stomach and groin aches but did not go to a hospital for a medical check, her colleagues said.

The woman grew up in an orphanage in the city but after leaving it she made her living by working as a prostitute.
