Turkish Company Chosen to Construct Mall in Bulgaria Capital Sofia

The Turkish construction company Kayi was chosen to build the new mall "Serdika Center" in the Bulgarian capital Sofia.

The news was announced Friday by the investors of the project, the Austrian Sparkassen Immobilien AG and the German investment company ECE Projektmanagement.

"Serdika Center" is going to cost about EUR 210 M, and is expected to be completed by 2010. It will have about 200 luxury stores, and 35 000 square meters of office space.

The mall will be located on the Sitnyakovo Boulevard in the Oborishte Quarter, and will employ about 2000 people.
