Exhibition of previously unshown treasures opened Thursday in the National Museum of History (NMH) in Sofia.

More than 2000 artefacts are included in the exhibition and the Director of the National Museum, Prof. Bozhidar Dimitrov, reported some of them were on display thanks to the police.

The artifacts come from the Neolith, the Bronze Age, the Thracian Antiquity, the Middle Ages, and the period of Renaissance, NMH announced.

The exhibition will stay open as long as visitors are interested in it.
