Patient Jumps off Tenth Floor of Bulgarian Hospital, Dies

A 75-year-old patient died on spot after he jumped off the tenth floor of a hospital in Bulgaria's town of Gabrovo on Saturday.

The man was taken to the urology ward and was to be discharged in a day after undergoing a surgery, doctors reported.

Eyewitnesses said the victim was sitting at a table next to the window when suddenly stepped over the sill and jumped.

None of the patients in the room could react in time and save the elderly man's life.

According to relatives of the victim, he had no psychical problems.
