Bulgaria's Health Minister Radoslav Gaydarski left Monday for Cuba, where he is going to negotiate arrangements for bilateral health policy initiatives with his Cuban counterpart.
The visit is going to continue until Friday, April 18, the press service of the Bulgarian Health Ministry reported.
Gaydarski is going to hold a meeting with Cuba's Minister of Public Health, Dr. Jose Balager Cabrera. The two ministers are going to sign a Memorandum for Deepening and Developing the Cooperation in Health Policy between Bulgaria and Cuba.
The Memorandum provides for establishing cooperation between Bulgaria's "Bul Bio - National Center for Contagious and Parasite Diseases" and Cuba's Institute for Tropical Diseases "Pedro Curie" and the Finlai Vaccines Institute.
The Bulgarian and Cuban institutes are going to exchange good practices in the scientific research field, the production of virus and bacteria vaccines, the allergenic medications, and other biological products.
