CSKA Sofia players Marquinhos and Machado as well as Levski's Lucio Vagner has been imposed BGN 200 fines each after they were detained over disturbing the peace by hosting a loud party late on Sunday.

The incident happened after neighbors signaled the police over the noise coming from the apartment of CSKA player Filipe Machado, where the party took place, gong.bg reported.

Marquinhos and Vagner complained about police brutality after the arrest. Witnesses say the officers were rude and behaved aggressively hitting the players before the eyes of their friends and Vagner's little son.

Marquinhos and Vagner then spent the night in a police department jail.

CSKA manager Stoycho Mladenov said he is to collect evidence about the police violence against his players.
