CSKA Sofia player Marquinhos and Levski's Lucio Vagner complained about police brutality after they were arrested late Sunday for disturbing the peace by hosting a loud party.

The incident happened after neighbors signalled the police over the noise coming from the apartment of CSKA player Filipe Machado, where the party took place, gong.bg reported.

Witnesses say the officers were rude and behaved aggressively hitting the players before the eyes of their friends and Vagner's little son.

Marquinhos and Vagner then spent the night in a police department jail.

CSKA manager Stoycho Mladenov confirmed the reports saying he is to collect evidence about the police violence against his players.
