Norway's Embassy in Bulgaria organized Saturday a discussion concerning the carrier development and family life of the modern women in the day of the ladies' international holiday.
Among the participants in the forum were the Norwegian ambassador Tove Skarstein and the chair of Bulgaria's Business Leaders Forum Maria Shishkova.
"The balance the women should keep between the carrier and family is one of the topics most often in our country," HE Skarstein said.
"The decrease of the population in Europe occurs mainly due to the fact that the women do not manage to combine these two factors but the ladies should not be forced to choose only one of them" she added.
Mrs. Shishkova cited data showing the companies, headed by women worldwide have about 10% better financial results than those, managed by men.
"I am sure that if such surveys are made in Bulgaria, there will emerge the same tendency," she ended.
