Bulgaria's tennis starlet Sesil Karatancheva qualified for the main draw of the USD 50K Tennis Channel Open tournament in Las Vegas, defeating Russian player Elena Bovina.
Karatancheva took the first set easily winning 6-1 but Bovina succeeded to gain the second 4-6.
The Bulgarian young tennis wonder was loosing the third set 3-5 but her play improved and she ended the match with a victory 6-1 4-6 7-5.
In the first round of the tournament Karatancheva will play against 18-year-old Madison Brengle from Dover, USA, who entered the competition with a wild card.
