The death toll after the Friday's train blaze in Bulgaria rose to four, as authorities reported the burned body of a child was found.

Previous reports said three people died and nine were injured after two cars of the Sofia - Kardam night train burst into flames.

Doctors reported the condition of the injured is stable and their lives are out of danger.

About 50 passengers were on the train when the blaze started but most of them were evacuated before the fire could spread, authorities reported.

Bulgaria's Transport Minister Petar Mutafchiev visited the place of the tragedy and the injured people, who are currently in a hospital in the northern town of Cherven Briag.

Investigation has been launched into the case and the minister commented the reason for the deadly fire is still unknown.
