Dozens of Roma from several Bulgarian towns will undergo IT training within a pilot project, launched Tuesday by the State Agency of Information Technologies and Communications.

The project, called Integration of Minority Groups, is to be developed in the towns of Lom, Montana, Dryanovo, Blagoevgrad and Stara Zagora, the agency's Chairman Plamen Vachkov said.

Among the abilities to be developed are ordinary computer and expert programme training.

The course of education will last for six months, ending with an examination. The Roma, who manage to pass it will be given special certificates.
