Sasha Bezuhanova finishes Sofia German language school with a golden medal. Then she graduates from the Technical University in the capital city, specialty "Electronic Technics". After taking her diploma, Mrs. Bezuhanova starts working in the Central Computing Machinery Institute. She changes her job at the end of the 80s when transferring to an Austrian company for medical appliances, where she takes the position of a regional representative. In 1994 Mrs. Bezuhanova makes the highest jump in her carrier by starting work in the US IT giant Hewlett Packard. She is currently serving as the company's general manager in Bulgaria.

Among her greatest distinctions are: IT Businesswoman for 2000, IT Manager for 2001 and 2002 as well as Businesswoman of the 90s.

Sasha Bezuhanova manages to combine her successful carrier with the duties of a wife and a mother.

She has gone up the professional ladder all alone and believes that each and every young person could and should do the same. "I can do the things, which depend on me," says Mrs. Bezuhanova.

Q: The first word I would ask you to define is "core". What does it remind you of?

A: We often forget about the importance of this word and it would be great for us to constantly think of the roots of all the things in our lives. I always try to find out where the core is.

Q: And how about your own core?

A: I have not asked myself what kind of person I am. If I have to formulate it briefly right away - may be I am dedicated to the cause, I like to make my ways, drawing on my own experience of life.

Q: The next word you should comment is "punishment". Have you ever punished your daughter?

A: I think it is preferable to bring up your children giving them your own example. I do not believe the punishment is a form of bringing up the youngsters. I rather believe one meet with some challenges in his life as they could be accepted like punishments or lessons - it depends on his point of view. I chose just to strengthen my muscles due to the punishments life offers me.

Q: Have you parents punished you when you were a child?

A: No. They just talked to me and it sometimes was even harder.

Q: Do you punish your subordinates?

A: I have never reduced their salaries to punish them.

Q: And how do you motivate them?

A: We set our tasks together and discuss how we could achieve our goals. I often say it is not fatal to make a mistake but not to put any efforts.

Q: The next word is "success". You undoubtedly are a successful person. Do you think so?

A: I am a woman on her way to success as always when I start a new project I have some doubts if I will succeed in it. But I also believe in that! Success is vital for one's self-confidence and freedom.

Q: That is why they say the shortest way to success is success itself...

A: It is very important not to depend on it. Otherwise you lose your freedom and for me freedom is something nobody should make compromises with.

Q: How can you lose your freedom?

A: For example, by submitting to a particular juncture. I have never done it so far.

Q: What is more important than success?

A: Freedom.

Q: The next word is "view"...

A: The first things I thought of were a French shop window, a green lawn and a mountain landscape with fresh air that makes colours more vivid.

Q: Do you have enough time to go to the mountains?

A: Yes, it is important for everyone to spare some time for doing something different from your work, for other type of experiences, something you are not good enough at. The keeps the balance of your spirit and feeds freedom.

Q: The last word you are to comment is "trouble".

A: Troubles happen sometimes, no matter how good your intentions are. I have not got into serious mischief but there were situations when I approached some people bearing my best intentions and they have not understood me. It suggests that one cannot envelop all possible points of view.
