Bulgaria Appoints New Deputy Justice Minister

Bulgaria's PM Sergey Stanishev appointed on Monday Boyko Rashkov, a head of a department in the National Investigation Service, the new country's deputy justice minister.

Rashkov was born in 1954. He graduated in law from Sofia University as in 1993 he got a doctor of law degree.

Since 1996, the newly appointed deputy minister is teaching students in the law faculty of Sofia's University of National and World Economy.

In 1995, Rashkov was appointer director of the National Investigation Services. Six years later he was elected a MP in the 39th National Assembly and was a member of the legal commission and a deputy chairman of the Interior Security and Public Peace body.
