Two people were killed and twenty-five injured in a huge fire that broke out at the office of the health inspectorate in the coastal town of Burgas.
The two victims are women, doctors, working at the health inspectorate, which monitors the levels of air and water pollution and their impact on people's health.
Witnesses said that a plume of white smoke rushed in to the room where the two women were working, cutting their way to the emergency exit down the staircase.
It was not immediately clear what caused the fire, but police suspects failure in the electricity supply system.
