Libya's Leader Quaddafi to Be Sued at Freed Palestine Doctor's Request

The non-profit organization "Lawyers without Borders" has indicted Libya's leader Muammar Qaddafi at the request of doctor Ashraf al Hadjudj - one of the six medics released from imprisonment in the African country after eight years behind bars.

The indictment has been filed before the Prosecutor's Office in Paris, the organization's chairman announced.

The paper accuses Qaddafi, five Libyan policemen and a doctor of torturing Palestine-born medic.

Paris prosecutors, however, said they did not have any information of submitting such a document by "Lawyers without Borders".

Doctor Ashraf, along with five Bulgarian nurses returned to Sofia at the end of July after spending more than eight years in jail over accusation of deliberately infecting about 400 Libyan children with HIV.
