Sofia's Privatization Agency sold Wednesday the ski facilities in Vitosha mountain to a private company for the sum of BGN 8,3 M.

The ski tows and lifts became private property after municipal company "Rope Ways" has been bought by "Vitosha Ski".

The new owner is now obliged to maintain the facilities for 25 years, investing at least BGN 500,000 in the first 12 months.

"Vitosha Ski" owns Rezana-1 and Rezana-2 ropeways as well as "Aleko Sport 99" association, which is responsible for all other chair lifts and ski tows in the mountain.
