Bulgarian Drug Trafficker Caught with 14 Kilos of Cocaine in Peru

A Bulgarian citizen was caught red handed with 12 kilos of cocaine at an international airport in Peru's capital city of Lima.

Vladimir Konstantinov, 38, was arrested after trained dogs smelled the drug substance hidden into one of his suitcases.

The cocaine has been packed into three packages.

The detainee said he was to receive USD 7,000 after he carried the drugs to the Spanish capital city of Madrid, police authorities reported.

The Bulgarian national arrived in Lima ten days ago.
