Planes take off and land at Sofia Airport without disturbances as the thick fog that covered the capital city started to lift on Monday.
The airport report no canceled flights due to poor weather conditions.
In the past few days dozens of flights due to arrive in Sofia were canceled or redirected to the airports in Plovdiv, Varna and Burgas because of the dense fog.
Four planes did not depart this morning but the cancellations were not due to the airport and the weather conditions, officials said.
The flights canceled are those of Lufhansa to Frankfurt and Munich, Alitalia to Milan, and Bulgaria Air to Paris.
Forecasters predict fog to lift by tomorrow, snowfalls expected.
