Sofia mayor Boyko Borisov was re-elected by a landslide on Sunday, securing 52% in the first round of voting, the data from pollster Alfa Research showed.

He saw off the challenge from rightist Martin Zaimov, who got 18,2%, and Socialist Brigo Asparuhov, who came in third with 15,1%.
