Bulgaria's Interior Minister Rumen Petkov, who spearheaded a clampdown on vote-buying ahead of Sunday's local vote, has received death threats by an anonymous caller.
According to information of Darik radio, the anonymous caller, a man, called at the Interior Ministry and said that Rumen Petkov will be gravely sorry for "where he is heading to".
Police declined to comment the reports, but said an investigation into the case has been launched.
