1,786 Policemen Guard Election Sections in Sofia

A total of 1,786 police officers will guard the election sections in Bulgaria's capital, the municipal election committees and other important places on the territory of Sofia during the municipal elections on October 28.

Bulgaria's gendarmerie, boundary police and the fire department would be on high alert on Sunday.

The people who have lost their ID cards can vote if they go to the nearest police department to get a temporary identification document for the elections day until 5 pm.

The area around the parliament building will be cordoned off until all documents are sent to the Central Electoral Committee.
