Folk singers from Bulgaria, Serbia, Greece and Macedonia will take part in the 15th international folk song festival Pirin Folk from 7 through 9 August in the town of Sandanski.

A total of 35 singers will have to try and impress the jury with their vocal abilities on the first night of the festival. The second night will be dedicated to composers, who will present their author songs.

The nine-member jury will include composers, music arrangers, song lyrics writers and people working in the folklore music sphere.

The show will be the most impressive one ever in the history of the festival, CEO of Msat TV and festival director Victoria Mitkova promised.

There will be light show, fire, burning fans and ropes, torches and even snow on the stage, which will be made to look like an old, abandoned church.
