The city hall of Bulgarian capital Sofia will spend BGN 29 M on repairing and building new schools and kindergartens, the city hall's press service said on Wednesday.
The budget allocation is four times the amount spent last year.
A total BGN 15,6 M will go to repair 129 schools and 71 kindergartens, with the rest of the funds earmarked for new construction.
Repair works range from cosmetic touches to overhauling the entire infrastructure and access to utilities in some cases.
